Ideal Home: Maeve would love a home where her hoomans are home with her during the day. She's a happy and fun and chill little lady who is very people social, loves a snuggle and to play with her doggy friends. She's not a total couch potato but she's pretty laid back, so she would love to get out and about for a walk with her hoomans every day but she's not going to be upset if you decide to snuggle on the couch instead (especially if it's raining...). Maeve has hung out with younger children and is a very good girl we would recommend a home with kids 5+. She is well behaved and polite with the dog savvy cat in her foster home and with the chickens. She would love another dog in the home to play with and learn from. Maeve is a big, soft, snuggle ball of sleep upside-downy delight and will make an amazing family member with almost any family. She will need a family that is committed to ensuring she learns all the things that a good pupper should know so she grows into a great member of doggy society.

Maeve and her siblings ended up in the pound with their Mama at 5 weeks old. Luckily, the pound staff were able to keep them safe until we could bring them into our care at 7 weeks old and in that time they got to stay with their mum and learn all the good things a Mama teaches.

She is such a lovely chill puppy, she will sleep anywhere and loves cuddles and attention. She is the only girl in her litter and the smallest of the bunch but she can keep up with her brothers just fine! She loves to play and loves connection with people.

Her foster mum says: "She is the cutest sleeper, she flops down anywhere and loves a snuggle, usually upside down with her belly up. She sleeps through everything even a crazy toddler doing flips on the couch. She is very trusting and just so cool."

Maeve is a very gentle and laid back girl - while she has her zoomie moments and does love to play, she is more on the couch potato side. She will enjoy a good walk every day but likely will never run a marathon. In winter, a good warm fire and a couch to snuggle up with you on and she'll be happy.

Maeve is a smart girl, picking up new commands quickly (especially when there is a treat reward in it for her!), she's house trained (but of course will need consistency to start with at his new home), is crate trained, sleeps through the night and has made a start on learning basic manners like sit and down as well as leash training. She is gentle with kids but is still a baby and learning about how to play appropriately so due to her size, we would recommend kids over 5 years old. She has been exposed to dogs big and small outside the home, a dog savvy cat, a turtle and chickens. She's currently in a foster home with 3 other dogs all of varying sizes and is very good with all of them.

This girl just loves being a part of things and is so keen to learn. She always sits before food or treats, and her foster family are working on teaching her shaking paws. She also has great recall! She always comes when called and will be the most loyal friend. She loves other dogs, she definately learns best from her foster sisters and is always watching to see what she should be doing. She would love to have her own doggy brother or sister in her forever home. She has met a few cats and has had a few smacks from them too! She has learnt they are the boss! She is excited to make friends with them but knows they have boundaries. She doesnt bark or try and push which is awesome, so a home with cats shouldn't be an issue with proper introductions.

Maeve loves new people, she has met kids and adults and loves everyone, she is quiet at first, she observes first then slowly gets involved. She is happy to see everyone, she isn't jumpy or too hyper, she will take her time to come out of her shell and listens if people tell her to stop doing something.

Her foster mum says: "Maeve would do well with kids as long as there are clear boundaries (she is teething and needs to know what her toys are and what aren't her toys etc) but she loves to snuggle with any of us. I cant imagine a situation she wouldn't do well in. She is the cutest sleeper, she sleeps tummy up. If you are napping she will nap with you. She reads the room and if you are nice and chill then she is too which is so cool."

Maeve will need hoomans prepared to continue her learning and socialisation and willing to teach her all the good things a puppy should know in order to be a great member of doggy society.

Maeve must be allowed to live inside the home so she can be a real member of the family.

If you can provide Maeve with a fully fenced and secure property, quality food, regular flea and worm treatments, a comfy and warm bed, a comfy couch to nap on and most of all lots of love for the rest of her days, click on the apply to adopt button and complete the application form.
